We moved to Missouri last November 2024 after living in Oregon for the past 28 years. What a change! Change, even good and positive change, comes with its challenges and this move was no exception. After living in Springfield, MO for a few months we purchased a house out on 2 acres in a very rural part of Missouri. Not TOO rural as we love Costco and hitting up restaurants on ‘date nights’! LOL But far out enough that I can walk down the street and take this picture of the sun setting behind an old century farm one warm spring night.

I do love to shop, thrift and go to garden centers but when the day is done…I want to curl up on my porch and listen to crickets, hear nothing but soft night sounds and the occasional hoot of an owl or howl of a coyote…in the way far off distance of course!

We are loving our life in Missouri and are grateful the people here are warm and welcoming. Even though we face challenges that all change brings, we are confident that God has led us here and we look forward to what the future holds.
